The 16-18 phase of education is the most exciting stage of your education to date. Here at The Sixth Form we give everyone the opportunity to develop their academic potential to the full, to make firm friendships, and to play an important role in the whole school community.  Our commitment to ‘achieving personal bests’ underpins all that we do – academically and pastorally.  We believe our students are role models; both to their peers and to staff in our school community and we take every opportunity to celebrate their successes.

Life at The Sixth Form is varied, vibrant, inspiring and fulfilling. There are opportunities to take part in an array of interesting enrichment activities that both enhance your applications for post-18 pathways and develop the skills needed for later life. You will also benefit from expert post-18 support and careers guidance, so the informed choices you make about your future pathway are right for you, as an individual.

If you strive for your own personal bests and take on board the opportunities that are on offer, you will be very well prepared for whatever route you choose post-18: university, apprenticeship or paid work. At every point along the way you will be fully supported in your aspirations and wellbeing by our team of committed subject teachers and pastoral staff. 

We want our sixth form students to leave us as ambitious, responsible and inspiring individuals, equipped with the necessary skills for their chosen future plans, and having achieved their personal bests throughout their sixth form journey.
