School President
Hello, my name is Rosie, and it is a great privilege for me to continue the legacy of the NSG School President role throughout 2024-25! Over this academic year, I will dedicate my upmost time and attention to advocating for each student, ensuring that voices and ideas are acknowledged, while upholding our school ethos with a strong leadership team you can rely on.
Joining the NSG Sixth Form this year has been a wondrous decision, and one that I hope to encourage more students to take and appreciate in the near future. This journey so far has provided a range of insightful and memorable experiences that have instilled confidence and resilience in me. In appreciation of this, I aim to act as an active and present member of this student body, striving to make everyone feel prepared for the next steps in their careers. I believe this prospect is tangible for NSG, and as I work closely alongside the whole Student Leadership Team, we will be devoted to fostering an inclusive, responsive and embracing school community.
A fundamental element of my presidency revolves around my passion for connection and learning, which I will incorporate into my proposals, aiming to provide even more enriching opportunities for our students. This may be through our appreciation of the arts, community engagement, or the encouragement of student-led societies and charity events, all of which would be invaluable chances to develop interpersonal skills and familiarity with our peers. At the heart of my presidency is a willingness and opportunity to make sure that each and every student can both realise and maximise their potential!
My aim is to be an approachable leader, someone with whom each student feels comfortable sharing their ideas and suggestions, and I can not wait to hear what NSG has to say!
Thank you for reading,
Rosie Ibirogba-Leonelli, School President 2024-25
