Preparing for Exams

Preparing for Your GCSE & A-Level Exams

Your final GCSE and A-Level exams are fast approaching, and now is the time to focus on making the most of your revision. Your PPE results have given you a clear idea of your strengths and the areas you need to improve—use this to guide your revision and exam preparation.

To support you, we’ve put together a range of revision strategies, exam techniques, and wellbeing resources. Your teachers will continue covering key content while also helping you refine your exam skills, so you feel as confident as possible.

Year 11: Make sure you check the Revision Session Schedule and attend the sessions that will help you most, based on your PPE results. These sessions are designed to target the areas where you need the most support.

We also understand that this can be a stressful time, so extra wellbeing support is available:

  • For Year 11, support is available during tutor time and through the CALM Project.
  • For Year 13, wellbeing resources are available via the Wellbeing Google Classroom, with small group Wellbeing Workshops and extra support through the CALM Project.

There are also revision videos and a guide to help you stay on track. Take advantage of these resources and structure your revision effectively—every bit of effort now will pay off in your final exams!

Stay focused, use the support available, and keep pushing forward—you’re nearly there!
