Year 7 Open Evening 2024

At Northampton School for Girls we are committed to ensuring the academic success of every child, combined with an unwavering commitment to the welfare and wellbeing of all of our students. 

We know how important the choice of secondary school is to you and your child. Here at Northampton School for Girls, we firmly believe that experiencing our incredible school firsthand, with the opportunity to meet many of our experienced staff and current students, is integral to supporting your choice. We know that once you have heard our children speak so warmly, eloquently and impressively about their time and experiences with us, you will understand how uniquely special our school is. 

As in previous years, we are wholly committed to showcasing our school and its exceptional facilities. This year, to ensure the absolute safety of our school community and visitors we have taken the decision to modify our traditional  arrangements, ensuring that we continue to accommodate as many parents/caregivers and prospective students as possible. 

Information regarding 2024-25 Open Evenings:

This year, we will be holding a series of face-to-face Open Evenings throughout October. This will include an introduction from the Headteacher, Mrs Taboada-Naya, alongside current students, as well guided tours from our staff and students. Recording of virtual tours and presentations will also be made available below after the open evening events.

Our open evenings will be held on the following dates:

• Monday 7th October 2024
• Tuesday 8th October 2024

Schedule:

4:35pm: Arrive at Spinney Theatre
4:40pm: Presentation by Mrs Taboada-Naya, Headteacher, and students.
5:15pm-7:00pm: Tours with staff and students

Full details regarding these events will be made available via our website on Monday 9th September, including information about booking, which will be made available via the link. The link for bookings will be available by Friday 13th September 2024.

Please note that we ask that, per family, one adult and one child attend. This is due to the significant demand for spaces and to allow as many families to visit our school as possible.
